Chapter 1 i messed up. i looked back. i wante dto go deeper into the forest, but i heard a growl.  i had committed to going deeper, but when i got there. All I had was a broken candle, leaning in the stand, lit by my bic. I left the lighter at the car. if i moveed too fast the flame would go out. i had instuctions, written on a flash card, i held it before the flame to stope the wind. still the fire could go out easily. it was crazy. i could feel everything. the forest felt alive!!! "The Beast." my mind said.  I stopped right there and left my offering near a tree. A wall of darkness peekin at me from behind the wood. A wooden basket filled with pears drizzled with honey sprinkled with Spanish saffron and silver coins. Again. I looked back.  Did I not trust? It's just that growl.  I listened to a Hymn to Nut before I entered too. While I showered. Ironically. I had watched "Sandman" yesterday. On a Sunday. The main character is Morpheus (i.e. Dream...

The Metal Band Pt. 1

I finally did it. My first intentional rock show. I'd been to one before, but I had stumbled onto that. It was in Savannah, Georgia; at a bar along the boardwalk. A homemade baked banana bread for the Witch and ginger snaps with Honeybun Donuts for Eshu. Delectable treats for the crossroad entities: if I say so myself.  North Carolina had a good track record for me and it looked like the trend was gonna continue. Add in the fact that the show was in September (my birth month) and I was sold! I bought the tickets at least a month in advance.  My plan was to leave around 2 pm (at the latest) and a r...

Whaaaaa?

Duane "Keffe D" Davis was found guilty 3-7 hours ago. It's now 10:26 AM. He was convicted of the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur. This came after JaKarr had mentioned Tupac's possible return. He was saying that it was possible that Tupac was actually Niccolo Machiavelli (the 16th century Florentine statesman). That Tupac could possibly reappear (10:44 AM as I write this).
