The Metal Band Pt. 1

 I finally did it. My first intentional rock show. I'd been to one before, but I had stumbled onto that. It was in Savannah, Georgia; at a bar along the boardwalk. So random.  This time it was in North Carolina! At the Neighborhood Theatre and the main features were: Messa and Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats. Unc Cid (as I like to call them) was the main draw for me. I'd gotten into rock music seriously about 5 months ago and Uncle Acid was one of the top bands I listened to.  The night before I made offerings to Hecate and Eshu. A homemade baked banana bread for the Witch and ginger snaps with Honeybun Donuts for Eshu. Delectable treats for the crossroad entities: if I say so myself.  North Carolina had a good track record for me and it looked like the trend was gonna continue. Add in the fact that the show was in September (my birth month) and I was sold! I bought the tickets at least a month in advance.  My plan was to leave around 2 pm (at the latest) and a r...

Whaaaaa?

  Duane "Keffe D" Davis was found guilty 3-7 hours ago. It's now 10:26 AM. He was convicted of the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur. This came after JaKarr had mentioned Tupac's possible return. He was saying that it was possible that Tupac was actually Niccolo Machiavelli (the 16th century Florentine statesman). That Tupac could possibly reappear (10:44 AM as I write this).

Double Trouble, Toil and Bubble

 I decided to offer to Eshu and Hecate today. I baked a loaf for her: an egg, cinnmon sugar, butter, and flour. It wasn't that tasty, but it smelled good. I walked to the store with my headphones on--departing just as Stoned Nirvana by Dopesmoker was ending--with the cake in a plastic container.  I had a playlist, Swift Rock songs , complete with artists from Jimmy Hendrix to Frank Ocean to Gojira. First, though, I had to walk through the shadows. I'd walked the roads before at night yet never the dirt roads. This was different. The air was alive somehow.  More...aware.  I moved steadily, not wanting to show fear, I guess I hadn't actually thought I'd be walking at night. I sorta felt the urge, baked the cake, charged my phone and headphones, grabbed my coat and I was out. I had on a bright sleeveless tank top and my obsidian draon necklace for protection. I uttered Psalm 23 as I moved through the familiar yet eerie environment.  The dark still scared me though....

Dragon Time

5:51 PM Day of Mars - Hour of Venus August 11, 2026 Listening to Dragon Time by Saint Vitus. The stat reads "10K views 11y ago".  1:11. I'm thinking about Mars. The Priestess. She's broken up with the guy. I had a feeling about him, but I wasn't sure. I thought she was headed down a different path. I texted her, but we haven't had a conversation yet. I keep thinking to call people, but I'm also just chilling.  I may go to work tomorrow. Most likely will. I'll have to give blood in the morning though. I bought some earbuds so I should be good. Now I can listen to music at work! I've been thinking about working with the dragons again lately. Last time I fell asleep right in the middle of the floor.

Teamwork

(From left to right) Duamutef, Qebsenef, Hapi, and Mesti -  The Four Sons of Heru   Did a ritual with JaKarr, with Oya, where we both went to the cemetery. I left about 4-5 oranges and a modest vine of grapes. We both asked that we be released from our porn addiction. We performed it during the hour of Mercury.  When I got to the cemetery there was a storm cloud approaching. I talked to JaKarr before I made my offering and made my request. I listened to Alice Coltrane's Turiya & Ramakrishna. Later, we performed the initial Opening of the Cardinal Quarters. I slept well. The Astral Flight spell didn't work last night. It worked on the 4th of August this month, but not last night. I'll have to stop smoking if I want to see real results.

I WAS FRANK ZAPPA

 I took a real break. For 10:10 this time. I thought the screen read Blessed Belief. I had another tab open that read "Episode 50 - BlackSun". My right forearm was sore. I worked at the pillow factory and that meant working with my hands.  Folding. Over and Over Again  by Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats plays in my mind. The screen had actually read Frank Zappa - Blessed Relief. I felt my arms relax; the muscle ease. I hadn't done a pushup in months. lol Fuck the Army, bru! Fuck that shit. AWOLNATION.  At 21:55, I realized I placed the white candles down, almost exactly in the cardinal directions!!! I had been listening to Black Sabbath - MASTER OF REALITY!!!!  I had just swept the carpet and was performing the Opening of the Quarters ceremony.  9:58 PM After Forever by Black Sabbath is playing. I ended the ritual with After Forever playing again, but it was the studio outtakes.- instrumental. I BUMPED THAT JUNK UP TO 100!!!! I saw 22:21 m left on the Planet...

My Trip to Virginia

Staunton, Virginia Stauton is an independent province, located in Augusta County, in Virginia. From 2023-2026 I lived here. I met many different people and familiarized myself with different cultures. One of these being rock music. As per my culture I'm more familiar with jazz, rap, blues, gospel and the like, more than I am with rock music, but I found myself amongst the culture while staying there.  Bricks was a hub for such festivities. It allowed local bands and even stand-up comedians to take the stage. This is where I ate some amazing Mango Habanero wings, drank some filling beer and performed my very first standup. It was amazing how the right location can turn a regular outing into someting fun.  A trio of mine would scrap together quarters so we could play pool and darts. This is also where I met my first "pool shark" and where I lost more money than I care to share. I learned that gambling and betting is not my forte.  Poseidon at  Virginia Beach I'm a bit ...
