 I took a real break. For 10:10 this time. I thought the screen read Blessed Belief. I had another tab open that read "Episode 50 - BlackSun". My right forearm was sore. I worked at the pillow factory and that meant working with my hands.  Folding. Over and Over Again  by Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats plays in my mind. The screen had actually read Frank Zappa - Blessed Relief. I felt my arms relax; the muscle ease. I hadn't done a pushup in months. lol Fuck the Army, bru! Fuck that shit. AWOLNATION.  At 21:55, I realized I placed the white candles down, almost exactly in the cardinal directions!!! I had been listening to Black Sabbath - MASTER OF REALITY!!!!  I had just swept the carpet and was performing the Opening of the Quarters ceremony.  9:58 PM After Forever by Black Sabbath is playing. Staunton, Virginia Stauton is an independent province, located in Augusta County, in Virginia. From 2023-2026 I lived here. I met many different people and familiarized myself with different cultures. One of these being rock music. As per my culture I'm more familiar with jazz, rap, blues, gospel and the like, more than I am with rock music, but I found myself amongst the culture while staying there.  Bricks was a hub for such festivities. It allowed local bands and even stand-up comedians to take the stage. This is where I ate some amazing Mango Habanero wings, drank some filling beer and performed my very first standup. It was amazing how the right location can turn a regular outing into someting fun.  A trio of mine would scrap together quarters so we could play pool and darts.   `Broadway at the Beach My time in Myrtle Beach was one marked by intense emotion. I lived with roommates, initially under the idea, that one of them would be an acquaintance I had made from my home. Long story short, that situation soured, in due fashion yet I had some amazing moments during my time there.   While trying to earn my CDL-A I made money by driving Uber and DoorDash. It was through a twist of fate that I met a friend I still have to this day. For this article I'll call her Mars. Mars is a beautiful woman (inside and out I would find) and we connected on our opposing views. We managed to accept each other's perspective without being hostile.  She was a native of Myrtle Beach and so was able to show me venues and hide outs.   The Art Exhibit Once Adonis had all of his grooming done and we'd roamed the mall enough; we plotted our next move. Ultimately, we decided to meet up with his friend and go to the beach. However, that was 4 hours from that point, so we happened to find a free event.  It was a free art exhibit in the middle of the Bronx. Of course we had to partake.   Armoni Inn & Suites 329 Route 303 Orangeburg, New York 10962 That's the hotel Adonis and I stayed at for our first two days in New York. Who knew there was a city, in the Big Apple, with the same name as the place I was born?!  I'd gotten a deal through Booking.com, via my Afterpay card, so we were set for our venture. We had some initial issues checking in, but once we got our rooms there was an instant weight lifted. Adonis had been locked up for 8 months and it had weighed on both of us.  Now he was out and we could have fun, but first we had to get him to standards. We looked up a nearby shop to get his haircut and while he was pampered I got me something to eat. I really should make a food blog. Jeez! Shame on me. I got Chinese food instead!  The trip to New York actually began before I even booked my hotel.  It began with a man named Adonis.     [right to left] Myself, Adonis and his friend I met Adonis while in Staunton, Virginia and we were both staying at the Valley Mission. 'The Mission", as it was called, was a homeless shelter on West Beverley Street. I met many different people there and from many different walks of life. I learned adversity truly knows no color.  Despite my challenges I still managed to have memorable experiences. A place integral to that was a bar called Bricks.  It was also located in Staunton; right up the road in fact. You could literally walk there and it was a nice moderate stroll. I remember passing the library often for about 3 years.  Yeah, the bar was cool. I learned to play pool; albeit I was the most accident-prone of the three of us and I even did stand-up.
