That's the hotel Adonis and I stayed at for our first two days in New York. Who knew there was a city, in the Big Apple, with the same name as the place I was born?! I'd gotten a deal through Booking.com, via my Afterpay card, so we were set for our venture. We had some initial issues checking in, but once we got our rooms there was an instant weight lifted. Adonis had been locked up for 8 months and it had weighed on both of us.
Now he was out and we could have fun, but first we had to get him to standards. We looked up a nearby shop to get his haircut and while he was pampered I got me something to eat. I really should make a food blog. Jeez!
We met a shop owner who was very insightful. He was aware of not just his ornaments, but life itself. I wouldn't say he was a spiritual man yet he had an air of wisdom about him that was oddly youthful.
We surveyed the mall, tried on clothes, sat in some chairs at the furniture store and basically did the exact thing 50 Cent called out Ja Rule for: Window-shopping.
